Organize Your Data

Keeping your files and folders organized and accessible is the key to not losing track of something important throughout the course of your research.

Think about how all your files and folders will be named and how they relate to one another in order to create a sensible folder structure that will make sense over time.

We suggest Haverford's TIER Protocol as something to follow for both the organization and documentation aspects of managing your research data.
