Library Guide for Macalester Employees

The library is open to current Mac ID card holders. Please scan in at the entrance. Your Mac ID is also your library card.

There's a plethora of things to do at the library, including but not limited to:

• Browsing our collections;
• Finding and/or reserving spaces to read, work, meet, and relax;
• Checking out, returning, and picking up items at the library service desk;
• Visiting the Archives and Special Collections, Idea Lab, DRC;
• And meeting library and research experts.
