Capstone Projects during COVID-19 Pandemic

Access to materials:

  • Start your research early.
  • See the Electronic Resources guide for more information about e-books and streaming media, including how to download or "check out."
  • Request materials (articles, books, dvds), whether at Mac or not, using the request button in Worldcat, MacLinks in Databases, or fill out a blank form in ILLiad.
  • If you need access to materials, whether we own them or not, and are not on or near campus you should contact Aaron Albertson ( or Beth Hillemann (, your research and instruction librarians.

  • ​Use Research Guides to find best databases for a particular discipline.
  • Back-up your work with Google Drive. 
  • Use a citation management tool, like Refworks or Zotero.
  • Manage your time wisely.
